I know that would be better for us since my wife is a teacher and thus would be out of school as well, but if there's a lot of planning around that weekend then I don't want to disrupt anything... I'd still be able to come without her. Not sure about everyone else, I'm sure there are some people that would be easier if it was fall break.
I'm going to go ahead and reserve one of the small cabins for the fall break weekend (Oct 21-24) incase you can switch it, and then if you can't I'll be able to cancel and just tent camp since I'll come down without her and won't need the cabin. |

I like the 16th better myself. Here's a video from last year's ride. I didn't get to go, but from what I understand there are all levels of rides to go on. The one in the video would probably be considered a pretty advanced ride from what I've experienced dual-sporting so far.

It just dawned on me....James you said Bill spanked everyone in the trails competition? If he did that on his GS I am duly impressed !!

Everyone was on a GS of some type. Bill was the best GS rider. Over six thousand BMW riders were there, don't know how many entered the competition. If anyone hasn't figured it out, Bill is a world class rider, especially on those big GS bikes. He is one of three riders from across the country chosen for BMW Team USA to compete in South Africa, and he continues to just spank the competition every time he enters one of these events. We should have him put on a demonstration and/or training class back home. He was an alternate for the GS Trophy in 2008 and a team member in 2010. The guy is 55 years old and beating up on the competition half his age. Pretty darn impressive if you ask me! That is some tough competition.

I hope very much to be in attendance. I can make the weekend of the 16th, but not the weekend of the 23rd. I have not been riding much this summer and I am really looking forward to getting the bike out on the trails.
